I am currently in a backpackers on the outskirts of Everglades NP. I spent most of yesterday driving and today drove around Florida Keys. I saw some Key Deer that are apparently endangered and only found on one of the islands down there. Naturally I did all these walks through mozzie infested swamp areas in a national park to see one, only glimpsing their running away bums, only to see a couple eating grass on someones front lawn as I was leaving!
Its about 32C here and the humidity is about 99% Its horrible!
