Today is a travel day so to fill up the day (because free time doesn’t seem to exist in the Cheeseman’s philosophy) there were lectures all day long. I only attended some of them. First up was Doug talking about Whales of the Antarctic followed by Tom with part II of photographic composition. Straight after that I grabbed Tom and asked him to have a look at some of the more in focus images of mine to pick out five for the slideshow tonight. That took up until lunch. Straight after lunch was Ted on South Georgia. After he had finished, Mandeep, Sarah and I had a camera lesson with Hugh. He went through every function on our camera and explained what they do. My camera has now been changed so hopefully that means I will be able to take better photos. After he had finished I went and had a sleep for a few hours. Then it was dinner, the group slideshow and bed. My photos are definitely not very good compared to most people on this ship but at least I put some on the slideshow. Although I was a little embarrassed because they really aren’t that good. I will at least have a lot of memories – even if they are a little bit blurry or poorly composed.
We have to put our clocks forward one hour tonight so my sleeping hours are getting shorter and shorter.
