I slept in until 1000 and had breakfast before heading out to see the sights of Ushuaia. The hostel is only 3 blocks from the main street which is only one block from the waterfront. I went straight to the Visitor Information Centre which was very crowded and stood in line to get stamps in my passport and a map of the town. I walked along the main street and went past a hairdresser so decided to get a trim, because my hair has become quite brittle on this trip and looks terrible. It was one of the cheapest hair cuts I have ever got, but thankfully it looks a little bit better than what it did. I looked in some of the shops and like other places in Argentina, the shops close from 1300 to 1600. I found a supermarket and bought some food for the cruise and some lunch. I returned to the hostel and put a load of washing on. My clothes were so dirty! The hostel is quite nice with a TV room, small kitchen and a huge glassed lounge room on the top floor overlooking the Ushuaia town and water. After finishing my laundry I headed back out and looked at the rest of the shops before returning for dinner and bed. I did sit in the TV room and watched ‘Se7en’ with a few other people.
